  • How do I schedule an appointment?

    To schedule an appointment, you would first book a consultation with us. During this consultation, we will discuss your needs and goals for therapy. After the consultation, we will arrange scheduling together based on your availability and the recommended frequency of sessions.

  • How much is the investment?

    Individual Intake $175. (60min)

    Individual sessions: $150 (50min)

    Couples Intake $200 (75min)-Includes The Gottman Relationship Checkup Report

    Couples Sessions $175 (60min)

  • Do you accept insurance?

    Currently accepting these insurances: Aetna, Cigna, Optum (including UnitedHealthcare, Oscar, and Oxford), UMR, Florida Blue, Meritain, and Nippon in Florida . For all other insurances, you may have out-of-network benefits, which means that insurance will reimburse you for a portion of our session cost.

    I have partnered with Thrizer to manage the out-of-network process automatically. With Thrizer, you only pay your co-insurance for sessions, saving you an average of 70% upfront. During intake, I can help verify your out-of-network benefits and co-insurance costs

  • What can I expect on my first therapy session?

    Intake Evaluation- The goal of our first meeting is to learn about your goals for therapy, get to know you as a whole person, and put together an initial treatment plan. Please complete registration paperwork through the Client Portal (check your email for login information).

  • How long does therapy last?

    The duration of therapy varies from person to person and depends on your goals and progress. Some people benefit from short-term therapy (a few sessions), while others may engage in longer-term therapy, which could last several months or even years.

    Additionally, we offer intensives for couples, which provide a concentrated and immersive therapeutic experience over a shorter period, typically spanning a few days.

  • Is therapy confidential?

    Yes, therapy is confidential. Therapists are bound by ethical and legal standards to maintain your privacy. However, there are exceptions in cases of potential harm to oneself or others, which therapists are required to report.

  • How often are therapy sessions typically scheduled?

    Therapy sessions are usually scheduled once a week, but the frequency can vary depending on your needs and your therapist's recommendations. Some individuals may benefit from more frequent sessions initially.

  • Is therapy only for people diagnosed with a mental health disorder?

    No, therapy is not limited to individuals with diagnosed mental health conditions. Many people seek therapy for personal growth, relationship issues, life transitions, and stress management.

  • What should I do if I're experiencing a crisis or urgent mental health issues?

    If you are in crisis or experiencing urgent mental health issues, please seek immediate help by contacting a crisis hotline, a mental health crisis center, or visiting the nearest emergency room. Therapy can also be a resource for ongoing support and recovery.
