Transforming relationships, virtually.

Are you seeking love and connection, yet feeling drained by the lack of harmony with your partner?

You're both facing distance and hurt, with one or both of you feeling:

  • Caught up in the same arguments without finding a way out.

  • Isolated, like you're the only one pushing for change.

  • On edge, afraid to say anything that might spark more conflict.

  • Concerned about where your relationship is headed, feeling more like roommates than partners.

  • Hopeless, despite your efforts to mend things.

  • Unwanted, distant, and starved for affection, closeness, or intimacy.

Maybe your day starts with excitement, but soon, a disagreement erupts into a heated argument. What began as a simple discussion turns into a battle of wills, leaving both of you feeling frustrated and unheard. Instead of finding common ground, you both retreat into silence, further straining your once-solid relationship.

Once upon a time, your partner was your rock, your closest confidant. But now, sharing your thoughts and feelings feels like walking on eggshells. Maybe past arguments have made you wary of discussing matters, or perhaps attempts to address them have led to blame and resentment, making you hesitant to broach the subject again.

Communication has become a challenge in your relationship. One of you prefers to address issues immediately, while the other needs time to cool off. This mismatch in communication styles leads to misunderstandings and hurt feelings, driving a wedge between you.

Perhaps everything seems fine on the surface, but you're both facing pressure from work or struggling to find a balance between career and personal life. These stressors can strain your relationship, leaving you feeling disconnected and overwhelmed.

Or maybe you're both grappling with trust issues after infidelity or betrayal. Rebuilding trust takes time and effort, and you're not sure how to move forward without repeating past mistakes.

Despite the challenges, it's possible to reignite the love and fun in your relationship, rebuild trust, and communicate more openly.

I'm here to help you along the way.

  • Couples therapy can be beneficial if you and your partner are facing challenges in your relationship, such as frequent conflicts or lack of communication.

However, it may not be the right choice if one or both partners are not fully committed to the process, if there are safety concerns in the relationship, or if one partner is seeking therapy as a way to avoid addressing underlying issues.

If you're unsure whether couples therapy is right for you, I recommend scheduling a consultation to discuss your concerns and explore your options.

  • In the first session, which is typically the intake session, we'll spend more time gathering information about your relationship history, current concerns, and goals for therapy. This session may be longer than future sessions to allow for a comprehensive assessment.

After the intake session, I'll meet with each partner individually for a session. This allows each of you to express your thoughts, feelings, and concerns in a private setting. It also gives me the opportunity to understand each of your perspectives more deeply.

By the fourth session, we'll come together for a joint session. This allows us to begin working together as a couple, using the insights gained from the individual sessions to guide our work. We'll start addressing the issues identified and begin developing strategies to improve your relationship.

  • The length of couples therapy varies for each couple. Typically, it lasts for several weeks to a few months with weekly or bi-weekly sessions.

However, the duration depends on your specific needs and goals. My aim is to help you both strengthen your relationship and address challenges effectively.

If this commitment feels overwhelming, ask about our intensive session options.

  • Couples therapy is generally not covered by insurance unless it is deemed medically necessary. This means that if one or both partners have a diagnosable mental health condition that requires treatment, and the therapy is part of a treatment plan, some insurance providers may cover it. It’s important to check with your specific insurance provider to understand their policies.
